Privacy notice

Last updated 7 November 2026. This notice covers this website and the waitlist. The Okoo device and app will have their own privacy notice before launch.

Who we are

Okoo is a brand of Montrose & Co Ltd. We decide how your information is used. You can reach us at hello@okoo.uk.

What we collect

• The email address you type into the waitlist form, and the date and time you joined.
• Basic technical records that every website keeps, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site working and secure. We keep these for up to 14 days.

We do not use cookies, tracking or advertising tools on this website.

Why we use it

We use your email address only to tell you when Okoo launches and how to get one. We use it because you asked us to (your consent). We will never sell it or use it for anything else.

Who else sees it

Our website runs on servers we rent from DigitalOcean, and Cloudflare looks after our domain name and email. They only handle the information to provide those services to us. Some of their systems may be outside the UK; where that happens, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until Okoo has launched and we have told you about it, and no longer than 12 months after launch. If you ask us to remove it, we delete it straight away.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and leave the waitlist at any time. Just email hello@okoo.uk. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
